Perhaps One of the Most “Hearty” Places on the Planet – Vermont

This is the home of maple syrup, cheddar cheese and real American Teddy Bears (produced in the town of Waterbury in “Vermont Teddy Bear Company”; the only handmade teddy bears with a lifetime warranty).

The state capital, the city of Montpelier, is the smallest capital in the United States. The little town is hidden in the heart of the Green Mountains, on the banks of the River Winooski. The largest city in the state is Burlington; this picturesque town has become a center of water recreation in the province.

In addition, visitors are attracted to Vermont by the beautiful Lake Champlain, with its reserves Mount Philo and Burton Island, ski resort Mount Mansfield, the town of Brattleboro, with its center of water recreation, the City Museum and Art Centre, historic park with numerous buildings of New England period, and National Forest reserve Green Mountain.

Skiing or taking a ride through the quiet of the trees on the plain, climbing or hiking in the mountains, riding on the Santa train, and in the evening sitting in the cozy dining room with crackling fire – this is what people tired of civilization dream of.
